WHO deserves my vote?
While thinking about the upcoming elections i got a question that who really needs my vote?? yes all i know that public participation in formulating government is essential for any democratic country but what to do in situation where you found no one that you consider healthy for bringing betterment in all systems of the country. as we look back when soon after the partition of united india & the establishment of pakistan. the political system goes towards darker side, the whole political system is splitted into several political parties & every party has their own aim & objective which they attempt to achieve at any cost lagging behind interest of the country & nation.
Lets look at present situation, the same “an old vine in new bottle”. Nawaz sharif attempts back to country with the justification that nation was in great need of his leadership. the recent announcement of his return to Pakistan on September 10 made few people dancing in the streets..i wonder what a people we are??what a short memory we has?? he is the same nawaz sharif who had been involved in several scandals such as hijacking PIA, bankrupt of national economy , yellow cab scheme scandal & so forth i am surprised when after knowing so much about him we still want to welcome him…but what you think i am convinced by musharraf law..no way!! he is also criminal, yes it is fact that after he came to power i supported him a couple of years n thought that he is among few great leaders of country but what?? first of all why the hell he acts as a president and army chief at the same time?? the situation of lal masjid & the destruction of humans at bajour & waziristan as well as his moving tail to america support revoke me..& now selfish musharraf seeks to settle down agreement with banazir bhutto, another popular name in damaging national economy..the performance of MMA in nwfp is not supportive..they only knows to criticize & barking over government policies..in practically they didn’t achieved their good status in my mind.acctually we got a country just as a piece of land but unfortunatly we failed to gain ethological strength so as a result there is descripencies at every turn of democracy..now its a great need of time for us to look all around what will be in the favour of country before chosing our leader.
As far as Pakistani politics is concerned, its all about getting into power and once there consolidating it by any means necessary, and acting in one’s own interest. Nobody gives a rats **** about the people – we’ve always been an oppressed nation. Democracy, like Islam, is only superficial in this country.
