I dont want to beef up my blog with political debates nor i am here for anti musharraf compagn or having any political  agenda,  while suffring daily times  for the last few minutes i admit to share this article.here i must say if the most superior leader having internal records like this so why go to blame others for?

  ISLAMABAD: A repair of the official Mercedes Benz of President General Pervez Musharraf cost Rs 8.7 million to the national exchequer in March 2005. Daily Times has learnt that a file for the expenditure on the repair and maintenance of the car has not been provided for audit to the Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP), despite repeated requests. According to the audit report for 2005-06, the audit department was still waiting for details of the expenditures incurred on the car’s maintenance. In its reply, the President’s Secretariat said the vehicle was a “protected one” and some parts needed to be replaced. It said spare parts for the car were imported from Germany and the funds were spent after approval from the “competent” authority. On April 26, 2006, the AGP was informed that the matter was under active consideration of “executive authorities” of the PM Secretariat.
