Free Movie Downloads Still Alive?

With online piracy being more than simple wooden boats stealing spices, it’s evident that it’s a major danger to many online industries. But with P2P programs, downloading movies online is now actually legal, if they allow it. With the simple idea of making movies accessible to the general population by causing them to be free, downloading movies online has boomed off the charts. Now, I’m not implying that pirating is a thing of a past, but it’s less and less because it’s now becoming increasingly less necessary.

Now the question becomes, how easy is it to download a movie online? With legal programs becoming available such as Limewire, Rapidshare, and other P2P networks it’s becoming evident that free movie downloading is actually easier and simpler than ever. Tons of people demand entertainment and now they can get it from their own home. The fact that it’s P2P makes it an even more viable way to access your favorite movies from another person’s network.

What is P2P? P2P stands for peer two peer, meaning, someone that already has downloaded content form someone else can give it to you just as easily. It’s a never ending cycle and it’s almost like trading in a market, but less complicated and less is involved. Except the one difference is that it’s free and risk free as well, making P2P extremely popular. The way the program reads peers is by using your IP address, the numbers that the internet associates and identifies your computer with.

Don’t get me wrong, the stealing of content is an epidemic that plagues the internet. But the legal downloading of free movies is constantly overlooked due to all of the legal action going on. Regardless to what anyone tells you, downloading movies for free is still extremely active and legal, just make sure the program allows it.
