HUM FM 106.2, a new addition in FM channels at peshawar.
The effectiveness of radio should never be neglected at any society, in fact its the first ever device used for entertainment but however despite of technology growth and the invention of satellite television channels, radio is considered the most effective communication tool now & before. radio listeners is greater at all level, the reason is that getting information’s & entertainment is easy and convenience then any other source.
A month back a new FM channel with frequency 106.2 starts its testing transmission at peshawar, this new channel make a difference in quality of entertainment they provide to their listeners for example like “radio buraq 104″ & ” power 99″ they didn’t run any local commercial & even they didn’t manage to hire RJs to run programs like panel discussions & live calls etc. well i can say that they didn’t need to do such things because the random songs that they play quite meet the need of FM listeners throughout the city. FM106.2 is the subsidy of hum TV & i like their colourful studio located at the upper floor of jawad towers on university road. i would like to inform readers if you live outside peshawar, tune up your car radio to fm106.2 to listen latest songs if you are planning to visit peshawar.
Besides local “molanas” FM channels located at various places of nwfp, PEMRA in the recent years granted liscenses to many FM channels in pakistan that paved way to bulit FM listners from every corner of the country. some popular “registered FM channels in pakistan” are apna karachi FM 106, awaz FM 105, awaz FM 106, city FM 89, FM 100 pakistan, FM 101, FM lakki 88, mast FM 103, radio active FM 96 &Â radio one FM 91.

Hum fm106.2 is brilliant approache 2wards entertainment specially in NWFP,it provides almost very good music to the people specially PAKHTOONS. in my view it will fimilliar in no time becoz every one has got his own cell phone nd there is radio option n thier ph ,so tyey can enjoy a good music as well as other entertainment programes.

There’re millions of radio stations all over the world but I think no one can compete with Hum FM 106.2 as for as I’ve been listening to a lot of FM channels in different countries that I visited.
