Most of the folks deemed that my online dairy is dead, Well for now! i can say, that’s not the real story! I see updating my blog lingered since many months.. this probably is due to other social networks that i am addicted with, life is getting busy, seriously one find it difficult to write something worthy, However! in the meanwhile, just came across an inspiring presentation for entrepreneurs. however it is intended for entrepreneurs in America. but considering the world as a global village, it can be directed to people from all over the world, Here I would like to add the words of George Bernard Shaw who said..

“Forget about likes and dislikes. They are of no consequence. Just do what must be done. This may not be happiness, but it is greatness”

Paypal in pakistan, A sheer disappointment!

Pakistan is one of the prominent outsourcing destination in Asia, according to the report of “Kearneys” an internationally acclaimed global consulting firm, Pakistan is the 20th favorite outsourcing hub in the word. I believe this is not enough, In Pakistan, there is large no of people with advance skills in IT & other specialized sector. there is still a big room of improvement as India & china, our neighboring countries continuously dominates as the top offshore destinations in the world. Yes! i agree they are larger then Pakistan with huge pool of resource people but the question is why are we behind in the list from the countries like Indonesia, Bulgaria & Sri Lanka??

E commerce became the source of living for most of the IT professionals, but in Pakistan when the young entrepreneurs steps forward to make their career in e-commerce, they find it difficult to manage their payments & receiving on the internet. it is hard to reveal that PayPal one of the leading source to send or receive money on the internet didn’t authorized Pakistan to avail there services. So this means that a large no of freelancers & IT professionals cant be able to get the benefit of online job portals like odesk, elance & many others.

PayPal in Pakistan became a dilemma now. Its been 11 years since paypal started their services & now they have reached 190 countries but yet Pakistan is not in the list, So the result is most of the people here get in the hassle to ask their relatives & friends from the PayPal supported country to send or receive their online payments. You know people in Malta & Uganda can send & receive payments online using PayPal but not the people of Pakistan. I don’t know the reason why PayPal is ignoring the growing entrepreneurs & online merchants of Pakistan, they are loosing a good revenue that they can make if started their services in Pakistan. I don’t want to extent this debate with unjustified remarks that people make about why PayPal is not available in Pakistan. but hope that we will see PayPal soon in our country.

Logo & Corporate Identity, Another Lingo

Corporate identity, trademarks or “logo” can be classified as the lingo of 21st century, where advertising & marketing becomes the essence of daily life. Now a days Trademarks & logo is the popular way to recognize a specific product, place, event, person or group. In 13th century trademarks for the first time was presented to identify people like Goldsmith & paper makers. Now logo or corporate identity is considered the most essential part of any business.

While looking at how the identity changes with time, Apple Inc in particular, has in the recent few decades changes their logos, Apple is an American multinational corporation that designs and manufactures computer & electronics products. Generally the logo design is changed when a new & advanced Logo designing software is introduced.

Apple fist logo was introduced when it was established in 1976, that was the time when the use of computer for designing graphics was not yet introduced at professional level, so that’s why we find this logo simple, in 1976 apple came up with another logo that is advanced from the fist one, similarly in 1998 we see the current logo which we find more attractive with a Web 2.0 concept. Logo designing for a directory, forum, blogs & other static or dynamic web portals is a growing profession. nowadays graphic designers use different graphics softwares in which Adobe photoshope & corel draw are most common.

Blog maintanance. Why important?

Blogging is not all about writing posts & replying to the queries of visitors. Nor it is browsing your favorite bloggers & the exchange views with them. Between these lines there is a term called blog maintenance which also needs adequate attention if you want your blog to exist over the web in a long run. Unfortunately i was neglecting few maintenance tips & lately discovered that my blog is under the threats of some serious viruses attacks. I found my blog unaccessible at all web browsers. yes! the virus disturbed the host files. One reason is that i have been receiving a large amount of spam comments & i found myself helpless about moderating it. So in most of the cases i left them untreated. Anyways now i have came up with a new template, hope you folks like that. I managed to install the latest version of wordpress 2.8 & find few tips in to cope with spam comments. So the bottom line is, Blog maintenance does matter.

Quality does matters in e world.

Itâ€™s been years since I am wondering in the e world. Infact there were many things I donâ€™t know about. During the beginning of my journey I have no idea about many interesting things that are considered as the backbone at e world. At the start I own a blog which belongs to free blogging hosts. I signed up with a free sub domain blog a start blogging in it. It was then Little by little I start learning things & interacted with a list of webmasters & entrepreneurs from every corner of the world. The blogging thrill continues & I moved to a self hosted domain account for my blog. I came to know that there are many people in e world but the most successful are the one who work smarter with focus on quality. So in e world the secret became Quality of services when success is the main concern in e world. Similarly maintaining a rapport & healthy relations with the customers & competitors is very important if you wish to move with the e world for a long run.

When It came to quality the most important things to consider is web hosting for your website, If your site is hosted with a trusted & high quality company then you are safe. I have witnessed many people who choose cheap hosting solutions & ultimately suffer loss of data due to server crash or virus infections. So the bottom line is always try to became a quality symbol & donâ€™t compromise with standards. Success is yours.

At the World of trade we observe that now the buying & selling techniques change a lot. Every vender strives to be the best in the market. For that reason they adopt state of the trading methodologies to generate maximum revenue. Besides conventional whole selling & retailing, online retailing in this regard is the very good example. Itâ€™s easy to access to a number of products online & it seems me that the future of online trading is very bright where every commodities will be available over the internet. Advertising agencies these days not only focus on print, static & electronic media for promoting their clients products or services, but they also go with web media.

E shopping trend at Pakistan.

When we talk about shopping, every customer tends to find the most easiest, secure & quick way of trading. Yes! every one will go for what they consider easy & convenient. Online shopping in this regard is the most suitable buying trend that is going popular day by day. Itâ€™s an easy practice for buying and selling a number of products via internet. it saves your time as well as money, Particularly when i observe the scenario here at my country Pakistan. I realized that with the expansion of internet users, the trend towards online shopping is increasing. But however I believe e-trade concept yet needed to gain public awareness & acceptability. On the other hand there are some hurdles that lagging us behind in the race of E- commerce.

The most notable hurdle in the way of online trade is of E-commerce support from Pakistani banks. Unfortunately there is no financial institute in Pakistan that offer account i.e. â€œpaypalâ€ for online shopping or e commerce. So therefore there is no other option for Pakistani online buyers & sellers to trade products online via credit card. Literacy & lack of exposure to the internet is also a factor for the low trend in online shopping. But infact who is known about it (e-entreprenures) seems helpless due to the non availibility of online bank account. similarly limited sense of trust on online shopping portals is another threat. Here I must say that e-commerce carries tremendous potential at Pakistani market. so itâ€™s the great need of time for e bankers as well as government to take necessary measures to open all the ways for internet users to explore & manage their shopping over the web easily.
