Telecom in pakistan

This review is the one that I wrote last month but didn’t get time to post it. Since I was associated with telenor one of the telecommunication company in Pakistan. I was responsible to manage a franchise at our town, so here is a review that I have made one the basis of my observation. well!! franchising is a well known global marketing strategy used by most of the multi national companies. In this a company provides a standard package of products & management services under one roof. So same is the case with telenor, A Norway based telecommunication company with a licensed business networks in many countries.

Telecom in Pakistan gets boost when mobilink enters the market in the last quarter of nineties followed by other mobile operator like instaphone & ufone. Later some other telecommunications companies also get license that includes telenor & warid. mobilike being a pioneer in telecom sector gets the maximum market share so its current market share is the fifty present of the total telecom market in Pakistan. Ufone & telenor is going equally in this race. They both have the total of seventeen percent market share. Left is warid which is the one like moving company Toronto because it focuses on majors cities only. That’s why it is behind the others in market share, but its market growth is more if we compare it with others. The market growth of these companies depends upon the network coverage, advertising compaigns, tariff & quality of customers services that they provides to their customers.
